Water Hook-up
The Patio Misting System hooks up directly to your standard hose spigot or garden hose. This makes placement of your pump incredibly versatile. You can use the provided hose attachments to hook directly to your existing water source. If you want your misting pump placed in an area farther away from your spigot you can simply use a standard garden hose to extend the range of your water source.
Electrical Plug-in
The Patio Misting System hooks up directly to your standard electrical outlet. Placement of the pump can be extended using an outdoor rated extension cord. When placing your pump, all you need is water and electrical hook ups. Using a hose, as mentioned above, and an outdoor rated extension cord creates limitless placement options for your pump.
Running the tube
The Patio Misting System Pump can be placed quite far away from where you are actually running your misting nozzles. The best example is you actually place your misting tube and nozzles on the back of your house along the patio. you then can run the provided black flexible tubing down support beams or the side of your house and back to the pump. The black flexible tubing is typically best to run back to the pump as it can be easily buried, tucked away or painted to become invisible.
Where do I put my Patio Misting System Pump?
Side of the house
The most common placement is on the side of your house. Typically you want to protect it from the elements, such as rain and sun as much as possible, but it is meant to go outdoors.
Near Pool Equipment
Placing your pump near pool equipment is also a good option. This is typically away from where you actually place your mist nozzles so you can the black flexible tube from your pump to the start of where you place your nozzle tubing and nozzles.
Close to HVAC Condensers
Placing you patio misting system Pump near HVAC outdoor units is also common. Keep a little distance from your misting pump and your HVAC unit so you do not restrict airflow.
Enclosed BBQ Buildouts
This often allows for closer proximity of your unit to power, water and your nozzle head placement. The Patio Misting System Pump does not require much airflow so this option usually works, even in constricted areas, within reason.
