Adding mist nozzles to your Patio Misting System.
This question brings some nuance to the answer. The Patio Misting System comes with 50 nozzles, although its rare that they are all used at once, this is just for convenience of the user. Each system comes with the nozzles below. You can also add smaller or larger orifice sized nozzles that can be mixed and matched to create the perfect mist for any climate or patio:
- 50 - .2mm Nozzles
The smaller the nozzle orifice (.1mm) the less mist. The larger (.3mm) the more mist. So the best answer is just for you to mix and match. Generally you may not visually notice that much of a difference in how much mist comes out, its a fine mist on the smaller orifice sizes, not just a smaller amount.
We provide this variety of mist nozzle sizes so that you can customize the amount of mist in each area and also do trial and error for what works for you and your specific set up.
.2mm nozzles are our most popular and for reference sake, there really is not a ton of difference in how much mist comes out by moving down or up one size.
For more humid areas, you will want to stick to the smaller orifice sizes. This is an important factor. If you are in Florida you will probably be most happy with .1 and .15mm nozzles.
Hot and dry areas, like desert climates in Arizona, Nevada, Texas and California, you will likely want to utilize .2 and .3mm nozzle sizes. If you have a longer patio, getting close to that 75-100 linear feet number, then you will want to mix in a few .15mm nozzles. This will increase the amount of mist from each nozzles. Essentially, there is a certain amount of pressure the system can output, and if you overtax it, then you will not get enough mist from any nozzles. Don't be worried though, adding just a few of the smaller nozzles really decreases how much pressure is used. This system is a high pressure, workhorse system and is more than enough power for almost all patios.
